(Unfortunately the paperback and Kindle versions are not linked within a single product description; I'm working with Amazon on getting this issue and a few others ironed out. In any event, both versions are currently available!)

  4. I know right. All I can say is that Jehovah's instructions are for a reason. He's the master timekeeper so he knows exactly what he wants us to do and why. It's our job to follow directions and stick CLOSE to the organization. Speaking of organization, I loved how it was noted how well everyone worked together despite trying circumstances. I could go on, but im not trying to spoil anything. So I bought my sister a copy of Flee so she can get started. Soon, I'll have someone to speculate with! Great job Ek Jonathan!

    1. Looks like you picked up the main points pretty clearly. It'll be interesting to see how things actually unfold. While I don't think reality will mirror the events in the book, it wouldn't surprise me if we are asked to sacrifice materially to help others at some point. We'll see.

  6. Question for the author: do you write one plotline at a time and weave them together after, or do you write it as it is published? Either way, I can't wait for the final book!

    1. Hi there Sylv. I've actually written about that very topic here: http://ekjonathan.blogspot.com/2016/08/letting-characters-and-situation-run.html
But in short, I never plot things in advance. I like to watch the story unfold as I write.

  8. Just finished this installment of the Flee series! It’s so nice reading this at night with my husband. This was an amazing series! I need to know what happens next! What is the name of the next book? Any date goals in mind?

  9. I think 'Stand' would be a good title.

  10. I ordered, received, and devoured Flee all in four days.
    CLIFFHANGER!!!
Oh the tension! I appreciate the further insight into certain characters personalities. How their life experiences drive their choices for better or worse. Is it too early to ask when to expect the last installment of the trilogy?
    :)

    1. Cheri, I'm so sorry but I have no idea just now. I need a little breather from these types of books for a bit. I'd love to have it done by the end of the year, but we'll have to just wait and see.

  11. Thank you EK another good read.- it is a novel of course but certainly provides plenty to think about - one of the first scriptures I learned was 1 Samuel 15:22 - Stay could have had as a subtext “obey”

    1. David, the title "Obey" for this second book actually crossed my mind, but I felt that having a bold "OBEY" title on the cover coupled with the style of design might overly resemble the "OBEY" brand by Shepard Fairey.

    2. I wouldn’t have changed the title - Stay works fine - I guess what I was meaning was that the overal theme - as a subtext only was that Stay was about obedience which is a big thing in our lives - looking forward to seeing how the plot develops - thanks again EK

  12. Is the book going to be available in epub version that non-Kindle readers can download?

  14. Now that I've devoured both Flee and Stay I won't be able to sleep nights until I'm able to read the conclusion in book three. Please don't keep me up at nights. Finish the 3rd and final book A.S.A.P.
